Surviving persecution - Attila Kapocs
Flashing pictures on our screens. Articles, pictures, videos about people we do not know, but they are brothers and sisters in Christ. They live through hardships because of their faith, they are persecuted, many give their lives for Christ, because they refuse to abandon Him and deny their faith. This is not a new thing, on the pages of the old- and new testament we find many examples and prophetic words, about the persecution of the followers of God.
Here, we live more or less in peace, we get along. It is like we were living in a paralell universe with them. Still, this is the same world. What can you do about it? Do we have any responsibility at all? What about those, who flee because of their faith, and the look for shelter by us? What to do about them? What if you feel, that you are fed up and you cannot perceive more suffering and it is enough for you to care for the problems of your own, and the persecuted christians do not fit into your world? Come, and let us talk and think together!
About speaker: Attila Kapocs, is live in Diósd with my wife and four kids. I am a co-worker of the international and interdenominational organization, OM (Operation Mobilisation) for 11 years. I am a typical example for a sudden career change. I was an electrical engineer for 7 years, then I was on civil duty, then God called me to OM. It can happen to you too!

Captivity or freedom? Hungarians abroad, foreigners in Hungary - Daniel and Barbara Frohnmaier
(Why) should I go abroad? How is it to live abroad? Short term adventure vs long term commitment? How do I make myself comfortable? Do I want to be with locals or with other internationals?
We would like to share our experiences and discuss your thoughts and questions.
We are an international couple, Barbi is from Hungary, Dani is from Germany. We studied together in Denmark and our journey lead us through Austria to Hungary. We experienced different cultures and for Dani it did not stop yet. We like to talk about the things we went through.

"For the sake of the Kingdom..." - Singleness in the Kingdom of Christ - Márió Dányi-Nagy
Matthew, nineteen, twelve.“There are some who don’t marry.” Sometimes we. Should it be?“For the sake of the Kingdom.” For fear of what’s long gone? “For they so decided.” This I did?“Let the one who is able, receive it.” Deceiving! Diseasing! Take it.
The prophet Jeremiah never married. And in his life this was an important sign. Can singleness be just that: a sign for today? How biblical is it to remain single? And what is it after all: running away, a psychological distortion, fate, or a gift? On this seminar we are hoping to have an intimate conversation about this topic with the Bible, Jeremiah, and each other.
My name is Mario Dányi-Nagy. I am a Reformed pastor in Kiskunhalas. I have been part of MEKDSZ for more than 12 years now, and I hope I'll always be! I work with the youth mostly, for whom I have a heart. It is my conviction that the Word of God is interesting beyond imagination, and that the Son of God loves us beyond imagination. I live and work to pass on these two truths - I hope, every once in a while, I succeed.
